WHO IS ORGANIZING THIS?
This series is a collaboration between Californians for Safey and Justice, the League of Women Voters, Anti-Recidivism Coalition and many other county and community partners of the LA Free the Vote coalition, with support from the Registrar Recorder’s Office and Los Angeles Office of Diversion and Reentry.
WHY?
Politicians pay attention when people turn out to vote. In November 2020 Prop 17 gave those on parole the right to vote, making all system impacted adult citizens outside of state prison eligible to vote - it’s time system impacted people claim their civic rights and make their voices heard!
